Chelsea vs Liverpool

Its on Sky Sports so we're at the Broomhill tavern to help Pete forget about Newcastle's collapse. Kick off at 7.45pm, but last time the pub was full before 7.30pm, so I'm going to get there no later than 7.15, and no, I won't be saving spaces. Well maybe one.

Hugh/Laurence do you need a lift ? I think you're both great. Will that do? ho ho. Anyway I have the car if you need transport.

Apparently, we've applied to enter the Intertoto Cup. So we've obviously got a lot of confidence about either winning the UEFA Cup or getting to the FA Cup Final. Desperate.

A few of us are going to watch Sunday's FA Cup semi final between Newcastle and Man Utd at ours, so anyone is welcome to join us. It'd be cool to get loads of people over here, have a good atmosphere.

pete, was wondering what your opinion on the dyer/bowyer incident was. since everyone immediately blamed bowyer, i'm assuming there'd been stuff brewing at the training ground previously...

so, turns out it's alain perrin. mandaric said he wanted someone with premiership experience so we get someone who, in his own words, knows 'nothing at all' about the premiership. he also just got sacked from some team in the united arab emirates, or somewhere, for bad results. weel, at least it's only a short trip to bramall lane for next season...

just read on teletext that neil warnock is favourite to be our new manager. please, God, let it not be. if he does we'll end up like the blades - a bunch of arrogant sods with arrogant fans. not sure who i want. bobby robson'd be good but he's too old & i can't really see him fitting in at fratton. strachan is bearable, normally i wouldn't want an ex-scummer in charge but redknapp's treachery changed all that. can't think of anyone else really. keegan would just fight all the time with mandaric. to be honest, a new owner would be good. mandaric's a saint, but he's sticking his nose in too much now.
