Ok, I've never really liked Peter Schmiechel's punditary, in fact, I've wanted them to get rid of him for ages now. He just doesn't have a clue and he just talks over people that know their stuff (like Hansen).
Anyway The funniest thing just happenned on Match of the Day. On Match of the Day just now Gary Lineker announced the winner of the goal of the month competition where viewers try to guess the top 3 goals, in order as chosen by a particular pundit, of the 10 goals shown the week before. Peter Schmiechel was this week's pundit. For the first time ever in the history of the competition, with 2 million entries, no-one guessed the order. Now normally they have so many correct entries that they make a draw, but not this time.
Could we finally have definitive proof that the ex-united goalkeeper has absolutely no idea what he's talking about. Peter, please go home.

Oh my word, we are so good. 3-1 against Olympiakos away. Those two 1st half sendings off may have helped. Ahem. Looking forward to beating Spurs on Sunday, and making it seven wins in a row.
What about Keegan though? Obviously, I've still got a lot of affection for him, for what he did for us (and I would like it if people stopped mentioning the '96 season; not just because of Keegan, but suddenly, everyone seems to have started remembering it. It was painful enough to experience then, I'd rather we didn't re-run yet again), but loads of people seem to have this view of him being a bit of an idiot. The England episode didn't help I know, but no one can deny his incredible enthusiasm for the game as a manager.
Anyway, I would love it if he came back.
